The Florida club beat the Mexican giants on penalties following a 2-2 draw in a friendly in Las Vegas, with Messi heading in an equaliser in the first half.

During the the first half, the 37-year-old was taunted by the Club America supporters and the Argentine responded by holding up three fingers and then a zero, referencing how many times his country have won the World Cup compared to Mexico.
